I met with Charlyn to discuss the project and before our meeting I asked for a copy of their license which she promptly provided. She measured, listened to my thoughts and then provided a quote in a timely manner. The fence installation was scheduled for about a month away and that is exactly when it happened. Two very hard workers (Joe and Adam) showed up on two very hot days and installed my new 6' privacy fence. They worked efficiently and it was obvious that they had built fences for a long time. I was a little concerned with the property as there were tree roots and a sloping yard, but these guys made it look perfect. The team keeps you informed every step of the way and also includes you in every decision (for things like which way the gates swing, specific points to connect the fence to, etc), and they go above and beyond to prepare the property for a great looking installation. I cannot recommend this team enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As seen in the pictures, I have a handful of dogs. My own personal pack, foster dogs, and boarding/daycare dogs! Naturally, when I got the keys to my new home in December the first thing I did was have a fence company come out to give a quote and get on the schedule. The unnamed company promised me it would be completed in January before a large condo project, or as the first project after the condos. Long story short, they continued to delay, did not communicate, and when the time came to get collect the deposit blamed me for the long wait and increased price. I could have had my fence done right then at the beginning of March but didn’t feel right paying a company for such a large project after treating me the way they did. S&G was my saving grace. They heard my frustration, immediately came out to measure, gave my quote and collected my deposit to ensure my spot on the schedule and avoid the price increases in this crazy market. They also took it upon themselves to help with clearing some smaller trees/shrubs to maximize the usable yard space! Within 3 weeks of meeting my fence was completed, my dogs were SAFE and loving the off leash massive back yard. The amount of stress relieved from something as simple as a fence… they just understood. The quality, attention to detail, communication and professionalism this company showed will not be forgot! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about S&G. Lyn was wonderful in doing the quote, coordinating payment and being my main communication to the crew. She was always very responsive and very friendly. The crew was fantastic, they worked in some truly cold temperatures to put up my fence (installed mid January). They were very polite and even made a change mid job when I was unhappy with how something looked (nothing they did wrong just something looked different once I saw it up). I had spoken with 5 local companies to get quotes and they had the best quote, a reasonable timeline for installation and best communication. 100% would recommend (and so would my dog who loves her yard). I selected S&G after getting 3-4 quotes.  They had a good price for what I wanted (black chain link).  Lyn was good about giving me options for the bottom of the fence where my dog might dig and they recommended a custom welded gate given the slope of my yard.  Their work was good, and they ensured that my neighbors (who have dogs) didn't have a open side for more than a night.  I would say they can continue to work on their responsiveness and defining when they would arrive on a day for work, but that's a relatively minor point in the overall process.
